Clinical Neuropsychologist

Becky Gius, Ph.D, is a clinical neuropsychologist born and raised in Albuquerque who provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals ages 16 and older. She specializes in evaluating patients with complex neurological, medical, and psychiatric conditions, with particular interest in serving individuals from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Dr. Gius’ interests include evaluating cognitive and psychological functioning in patients with dementia and other neurodegenerative disorders, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, epilepsy, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases, and cerebrovascular conditions. She also conducts psychosocial and psychodiagnostic evaluations for a range of clinical purposes, including bariatric surgery and organ transplant candidacy.
Dr. Gius completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of New Mexico Hospital and completed her APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System in San Antonio, Texas, with a focus in polytrauma rehabilitation. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the APA- and PCSAS-Accredited Clinical Psychology Program at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL
