Fabiola Mercado Nieves, Ph.D., is a Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow for Brain and Behavioral Associates. Native from the Island of Puerto Rico, she earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University and completed her doctoral internship at Neurocognitive Rehabilitation Unit of Damas Hospital and Wellness Center Outpatient Clinic in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
Fabiola has had experience providing bilingual neuropsychological evaluations in both English and Spanish for diverse populations, including children, adults, and older adults. Her clinical interests include acquired brain injuries and neuropsychological impacts of medical conditions. Fabiola has participated in research projects related to neuropsychological processes involved in learning, trauma among Puerto Rican youth, and cognitive rehabilitation. Her goal is to deliver compassionate and culturally sensitive care with the aim of supporting individuals and their families.
